Digital Frontier Group wins 2003 American Graphic Design Award
Great Neck, NY November 17 2003-- "Graphic Design:usa" today selected Middle Island, NY-based Digital Frontier Group as a winner in the 2003 American Graphic Design Awards competition.
Now in its 24th year, the competition is among the most prestigious and democratic of all creative events. This year, only about 10% of all entries were considered worthy of an award.
Digital Frontier Group was recognized for excellence in communication and graphic design for their work on a promotional piece for City Outdoor Group. The piece, a 16-page full color brochure, highlights the offerings of the New York based company and their two affiliates, Metro Lights and NPA.
In accepting the award, Vito Incorvaia, Digital Frontier’s creative director and founder, admitted that this award in particular was very special to him. “We always strive to do the best for our clients, and we always hope that what we create helps the client to meet their business objectives,” Incorvaia said. “However, deep down, as a designer you always want your work to be recognized by other designers for its creativity and that’s what this award does for us.”
Digital Frontier Group, founded by Incorvaia and his son Patrick, specializes in creating a “marketing essence” for a client’s corporate identity through advertising, logos, collateral, website and point-of-purchase materials. In addition to their work for City Outdoor, they have also developed creative marketing solutions for such clients as Cara Nurseries, Eagle Electric, and Elite Technology.
The Firm’s award will be formally announced in the December issue of Graphic Design:usa.
