Palm developer IT Link wins Ericsson Frontier Competition for Wireless Internet Application with SalesLink SFA application
New Zealand September 25 2003--Sales and service people can enter and print orders or invoices on-the-job, then transactions can be sent wirelessly to the office, warehouse and accounting system via CDMA, GPRS, or any I.P LAN connection.

SalesLink Mobile integrates ‘out-of-the box’ to 25 popular accounting systems including MYOB, NZA Gold, Profax and Prophet up to enterprise systems including Baan and J D Edwards.
“SalesLink Mobile is scalable from very small sales teams up to corporate customers. The Palm operating system has enabled us to develop a solution that is highly intuitive and easy to use. This is very important as many highly skilled sales people are still technophobic,” according to Sales Director Luigi Cappel.
Judges of this year’s Ericsson Frontier competition have praised the calibre of finalists who have showcased pioneering applications, which demonstrate that 3G and broadband are indeed a reality.
Frontier judge & telecommunications commentator Paul Budde says it was great to participate in an industry event that stimulates Australian and New Zealand entrepreneurs to innovate.
“I was highly impressed by all 6 finalists and any one of them could easily have become the winner. This is very pleasing as this indicates that there is plenty of originality Down Under with business potential for export”
The other finalists of the Ericsson Frontier competition were; Australia: Intermoco Solutions Pty Ltd, Power Clinical Pty Limited, Surelabs. New Zealand: Datasquirt Limited, Hyperfactory Limited.
